How to Create and Manage Groups on BanglaTech
Set up student groups, invite members, create quizzes, manage badges & streaks, and run your coaching batch all in one place.
Getting Started with Groups
Groups are the core of BanglaTech's learning platform. Create a group for your coaching batch, class, or study circle. Members can access study materials, take quizzes, and track their progress.
Creating a Group
- Click the Groups icon in the navigation bar
- Click "+ নতুন গ্রুপ তৈরি"
- Enter your group name, description, and choose visibility (Public or Private)
- Public groups can be discovered by anyone; Private groups require an invitation
Managing Study Materials
Upload lecture sheets, notes, and solve sheets for your students:
- Lecture Sheet — Full lessons with rich text, images, and math formulas
- Notes — Quick revision cheat sheets
- Solve Sheet — Worked-out solutions
- Link — External resources (YouTube videos, etc.)
You can also bulk import materials using JSON files for faster setup.
Creating Quizzes
Two types of quizzes available:
- Topic Quiz (Material Quiz) — Attached to a specific topic, picks random questions from the question bank per student
- Model Test — Pulls questions from multiple topics, simulating a full exam
Both types support per-student randomization — every student gets a different set of questions!
🔥 Streaks & 🏆 Achievement Badges
Keep your students motivated with automatic achievement badges and learning streaks!
How Streaks Work
Every day a student reads a material or takes a quiz, their streak counter increases. The streak shows as a 🔥 fire emoji with the day count on their dashboard.
- 🔥 3-Day Streak — Earned after 3 consecutive days of learning
- 🔥 7-Day Streak — One full week of consistent study
- 🔥 30-Day Streak — An incredible month of dedication!
If a student misses a day, the streak resets — this creates a powerful "don't break the streak!" motivation.
Achievement Badges
Students earn badges automatically based on their activity. Here are all the badges:

| 💪 | অধ্যবসায়ী (Persistent) | Take 10 or more quiz attempts |
| ⭐ | টপার (Top Performer) | Reach top 3 on the leaderboard |
| 📖 | টপিক সম্পন্ন (Topic Complete) | Complete all materials in a single topic |
| 🔥 | ধারাবাহিক (Streak) | Maintain a 3, 7, or 30-day learning streak |
Badges appear on the student's dashboard between the progress section and recently read materials. Earned badges show in full color; unearned badges appear greyed out with a lock icon — motivating students to collect them all!
Tips for Admins
- Badges are fully automatic — no admin action needed
- Students see their badges on the group dashboard
- The streak system encourages daily visits, increasing engagement
- Combine badges with the paid attempts system — students who earn badges are more likely to purchase extra quiz attempts
Paid Quiz Attempts
Monetize your content with the pay-per-attempt system:
- Go to /admin/payments and enable the payment system
- Set your bKash number, free attempt count, and pricing
- Students get free attempts first, then see a payment prompt to buy more
- Students send money via bKash and submit their transaction ID
- You review and approve from the admin panel
Discussions
Students can share tips, ask questions, and discuss topics within the group using the Discussions tab. Any group member can post using the full rich text editor.
Broadcast Notifications
Send push notifications to all group members using the Broadcast tab. Great for announcing new quizzes, materials, or important updates. Students receive both in-app and browser push notifications.
